Managing Safety Inventories

There are no short cuts to construction safety.  Equipment and inventory must be regularly inspected, result documented and wherever failure occurs that item must be removed from potential employee use pending repair or replacement.  

Safety Documents: Checklist Inspection

Standardized safety checklists must include comprehensive inspection and verification of each safety criteria. In addition, safety staff performing such inspection must document their overall acceptance that the equipment is in good working order and adheres to properly documented standards. Equipment that passes a safety inspection must also include the date of the inspection, the inspecting individual's name and signature. Completion of prescribed safety form(s) must provide evidence of compliance to standards. Inspecition failure must include specific detail as to what the failure is, while flagging removal from potential use pending repair or replacement.
